UPDATE: January 29, 2022

Dear Friends of Countryside,

Your Church Council continues to monitor the local COVID statistics in order to balance our responsibility to keep our Countryside family safe and to provide opportunities for our Countryside family to gather.  Given the current infection rates, hospital capacity limitations, the possible spread to vaccinated/boosted members as well as the unvaccinated, and how our current situation mirrors the experiences of other places in our state and the world, the Council has voted in favor of delaying all in-person services and meetings until Sunday, February 13, 2022.  We will continue to re-evaluate the situation to see what further action may be required.

UPDATE: January 14, 2022 - 10:30 am

Dear Friends of Countryside,

Your Church Council has been closely monitoring the local COVID statistics since the beginning of the pandemic. Given the current infection rates, hospital capacity limitations, and the possible spread to vaccinated/boosted members as well as the unvaccinated, the Council has voted in favor of moving to all virtual worship services and meetings for the rest of January, at which time we will re-evaluate the situation and decide if further action is required.

Effective immediately through January 31, 2022:

  • All worship services will be online only. Services will be streamed to our website (countryside-church.org/live) beginning at 10:00 am every Sunday. Services will remain available to view throughout the week. For those who do not have internet service, you may listen by telephone by simply dialing (888) 832-3818.
  • All meetings will be held virtually by Zoom or postponed.
  • Fundraisers scheduled for the month of January will be postponed to a later date.
  • The church building will be closed, with the exception of office staff, worship presentation team, and current ongoing kitchen rental.

This decision was not made lightly. Many hours of research, discussion, and deliberation have gone into this decision. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to remain active while keeping everyone as safe as possible.
